Map and Informations of the Canarian Island Tenerife
Living on the Canary Island
We can not only claim this, but we were able to experience this on our island during our eleven months. Villa de Arico, a small village in the south was our home. There we were allowed to get to know the Canarios very directly.
Therefore, we not only learned about their way of life, typical specialties and customs, but also learned about the shadows of the island.
Here, we want to tell you about the positive side of Tenerife, because this Isla de Canarias offers everything your heart desires for holidays and leisure activities.
Hiking, climbing, water sports, biking and many other options are possible all year round.
Hiking Variety Tenerife – endless options
Touring in Tenerife means diversity, variety, breathtaking moments, summit experiences and everything the hikers’ heart desires.
There is something for everyone. So it never gets boring.
To be honest, we already see ourselves as “experienced hikers”, as we hiked, among other things, the 10 highest mountains of the Canary Islands.
The peaks of Teide National Park offer variety, almost untouched nature, wilderness and a lot of adventure.
Our experiences and detailed descriptions of the tours can be found in the hiking guide Tenerife.
A recommendation for those who would like to read exciting stories or participate in extraordinary Papa-daughter ventures.
Climbing and bouldering
In addition to the leisure activity hiking we used the proximity to world famous climbing and boulder areas. Reports, pictures and videos are also available in this area.
The Canarios and their habits / customs
Of course, we also used the time to get to know the Canarios and their customs and festivals and to make a real picture of Tenerife away from mass tourism.
